FASTASLEEP are pleased to announce in conjunction with our Norwegian distributor Lilltech AS that we have secured the contract to supply our Fire Resistant Cell Blankets to the Norwegian Police.

The Fire Resistant Cell Blanket has a soft fleece texture, meets fire test BS 5866 Part 4 and BS 5815 Ignition Source 0 and 5 and tear strength test BS EN ISO 13937-3: 2000 Part 3.

The contract is initially for a 2 year period with options to extend for another 1-2 years and is for a total of 1600 blankets.

We are working closely with our new distributor Lilltech AS who will continue to liaise with the Norwegian Police in relation to our other products as well as other key markets and customers.  New regulations have recently been introduced in Norway which stipulate that all blankets supplied to prisons must be fire resistant.

This success is part of an ongoing campaign to increase sales in the Scandinavian region!
